Yep, you'd be wrong. From the looks of the season three trailer, the only things on the horizon for the residents of everyone's suburban hell-pit are misery, misery, and even more misery.

There's a lot to unpack in that trailer, but there was one moment in particular that had people talking.

To recap: the final scene shows Betty Cooper creeping downstairs at night, only to discover a cult-like scene where her sister and mother appear to be dangling babies over a fire.

We'll have to wait until October 10 to find out, but in the meantime people already have some thoughts.

Theories aside, one thing is for certain: that "great, normal Labor Day weekend" Archie was after probably isn't going to be happening.
